National Guard Thunderbolts Fly Over PRMC in Salisbury

The Maryland National Guard flew three A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft over the state on Friday afternoon to honor workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Nurses and doctors at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury watched as the aircraft flew over around 2:30 p.m. from the hospital’s rooftop.

After a brief training exercise, the aircraft flew over Easton around 3 p.m.

Starting in Bel Air and ending in Baltimore, the flight path covered Western Maryland, the D.C. metro region, the Eastern Shore and Central Maryland.
