Maryland National Guard Plans Statewide Flyover to Salute COVID-19 Frontline Workers

The Maryland National Guard has announced a statewide aircraft flyover to salute those “fighting on the frontlines of COVID-19.” 

Officials will fly an A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft over most of the state, beginning in Bel Air at 1:48 p.m. and ending over Baltimore around 3:19 p.m.

On the Eastern Shore, the aircraft will fly over Cambridge around 2:22 p.m., over Salisbury around 2:30 p.m. and over Easton around 2:57 p.m.

Flight times are approximate and subject to change. Residents are urged to continue to adhere to state and local guidelines regarding social distancing and public gatherings.
