The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has announced plans to reopen Killens Pond State Park Water Park in Felton.
The location had been closed to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Officials say the park will open on Saturday, July 11 starting at 30% capacity during two sessions. The first from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the second from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The park will be closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
In order to visit, you’ll have to reserve a session pass online prior to visitation.
There will also be strict health and safety measures including a face mask/covering requirement prior to entering the water. Social distancing will also be required in addition to strict cleaning and sanitization efforts.
