COVID-19 By the Numbers: How Delmarva Compares to the Nation

While New York and New Jersey lead the nation in coronavirus cases, there continues to be a surge of cases in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.

Maryland has 147.9 cases per 100,000 residents, ranking just outside the top 10 states for COVID-19 cases.

Delaware, which has a substantially higher population density due to its size, ranks number 9, with 182.1 cases per 100,000 residents.
